This morning we watched the first few minutes of the film ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’. The class looked to see if they could spot any of the World War 2 things we had been looking at. They recognised the evacuee labels and gas mask boxes as well as the steam train and WW2 uniforms. Here’s what the class remembered a bit later:

Green Tomato Chutney

Today we started the first stage of our Green Tomato Chutney. We picked all the remaining green tomatoes on our plants, chopped them up with some onions and left them overnight. Here is the voicethread we have started about it – we’ll add more as we progress through the recipe!
